We value clear communication, teamwork, and high-quality work—and we support our people with the tools and training they need to succeed.</p><p>We are currently hiring for a <strong>Traveling Superintendent</strong>, a key role that helps lead our projects and maintain our high standards across multiple locations.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p><p>As a <strong>Traveling Superintendent</strong>, you'll play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of the on-site construction of commercial projects from the ground up.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Project Leadership:</strong>&nbsp;Oversee all on-site activities for ground-up commercial projects, coordinating subcontractors and managing daily operations from site preparation to completion.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Quality Assurance:</strong>&nbsp;Uphold strict quality standards throughout the construction process, ensuring that all work meets or surpasses expectations.</li><li><strong>Schedule Management:</strong>&nbsp;Create and maintain on-site work schedules, coordinating subcontractors to ensure timely completion of tasks within budget.</li><li><strong>Collaboration:</strong>&nbsp;Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and team members to achieve project goals.</li><li><strong>Safety:</strong>&nbsp;Prioritize and enforce on-site safety protocols and regulations.</li><li><strong>Problem Solving:&nbsp;</strong>Identify and resolve on-site construction issues promptly, implementing practical solutions to maintain project momentum and efficiency.</li><li><strong>Communication:</strong>&nbsp;Serve as the primary on-site liaison, facilitating clear and timely information exchange between subcontractors, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and resolve issues promptly.</li><li><strong>Field Management:</strong>&nbsp;Provide day-to-day oversight on project sites, communicating with subs and trades.</li><li><strong>Logistical Coordination:</strong>&nbsp;Manage supplies, materials, equipment, and personnel efficiently.</li><li><strong>Motivation:</strong>&nbsp;Demonstrate ability to motivate subs and trades to meet deadlines and overcome obstacles creatively.</li><li><strong>Other duties as assigned:</strong>&nbsp;Perform additional responsibilities as required to support the successful completion of projects and organizational objectives</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>5-10 years of experience in ground-up commercial construction, with at least 5 years of site development experience.</li><li>Extensive hands-on construction experience, with in-depth knowledge of building methods and processes.</li><li>Strong understanding of how to physically construct buildings and structures.</li><li>Proven ability to manage day-to-day project operations, including field management and logistical coordination</li><li>Proficiency in reading blueprints, understanding specifications, and effectively managing construction workflows.</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in coordinating supplies, materials, equipment, and personnel on construction sites.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with subcontractors and trades, as well as with the Project Manager and other Construction Leadership.</li><li>Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to follow and enforce client and company policies and procedures.</li><li>Experience in healthcare, hospitality, retail, self-storage, and multifamily sectors preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification</li><li>Blue Card Environment Certification</li><li>Experience with Blue Beam, GCP, Sage SCM, or other similar construction management systems.</li><li>Prior experience as a subcontractor or tradesman expert</li><li>Bilingual (Oral &amp; Written English required, Oral Spanish strongly preferred).</li></ul><p><strong>Travel Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>This position works specifically at its designated locations within the Southeast US.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Company Culture</strong>: At Envision Construction, we’re more than just a construction company; we’re a community.
